For ten years of my life I belonged to a Messianic Jewish Congregation in Southern California called Simchat Yeshua. We were located in West Covina. While there I studied Judaism among others who were both Jews and non Jews. While there I would spent six (6) of those years serving in prison ministry where I led a men's group where our focus was upon the prophet Daniel; and, the book of Revelation.

While there as I taught; I would discover that the keys to my understanding of Daniel would require me to examine the LXX. When I arrived at chapter 11 of Daniel I got stuck. I didn't have answers. Why? Because our Western Bibles are designed in such a way as to obscure the truth. So I went looking for them in history.

That's when I learned about the Maccabean Revolt. This caused me to read deeply into the Apocryphal Books contained in the Greek LXX that are absent from our Western Bibles. There I would find my answers in Maccabees. Without the LXX I wouldn't have been able to solve the riddle of my understanding about Daniel's text.

Friends. The Majority of Western Bibles are based upon the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament portion; and, the Greek Textus Receptus for the New Testament.

Bibles that are based upon the MT (Masoretic Text). A Scribal Tradition.

Scribes were the ones who wrote the text.
Jesus WARNED us about the Scribes.
HE said to BEWARE their doctrine (διδαχῆς).

ITS ROOT IS A VERB MEANING "TO LEARN"

WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM THE SCRIBES?
WHAT DO THEY TEACH?

COULD IT BE THAT YESHUA THE ONE WHOM MANY CALL "JESUS"
WAS WARNING US ABOUT THE SCRIBAL TRADITION (THE MASORETIC TEXT)
HE KNEW WOULD DECIEVE THE WORLD IN THE TIME BEFORE HIS RETURN?

"Then Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."" [Matthew 16:6 NKJV]

""How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?--[but] to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees."" [Matthew 16:11 NKJV]

"Then they understood that He did not tell [them] to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees." [Matthew 16:12 NKJV]

"Then He charged them, saying, "Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod."" [Mark 8:15 NKJV]

"Then He said to them in His teaching, "Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, [love] greetings in the marketplaces," [Mark 12:38 NKJV]

"In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first [of all], "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy." [Luke 12:1 NKJV]

""Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts," [Luke 20:46 NKJV]

"Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;" [Hebrews 3:12 NKJV]

Daniel himself worshipped the Living God.

“Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?” Daniel 6:20.

"I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, And steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion shall endure to the end." Daniel 6:26

My study of Daniel would also led me into the Aramaic Targums; where John gets all his language about Jesus. Which he employs masterfully in the Gospel bearing his name. It also lead me into the Aramaic New Testament where I would find 32 identity statements from Yeshua (the one whom many call Jesus) where He directly ties his identity to the VOICE that was HEARD upon Mt. Sinai. The one who was SEEN by Nadab Abihu and 70 of the Elders who ate and drank in His Presence. The one who hand delivered the instructions to Moses. Written with His own finger. Twice.

Surely HE knows what is written upon them.

Within the Text of the Aramaic Peshitta I would discover the Identity Statements that very clearly declare "I am the Living God." He does this 32 times within the Peshitta's text. LINK.

Friend I'm going to assert to you that the Living God has been grossly misrepresented. Yeshua the one whom many call Jesus gave us clues within the Gospels. Warning us about the Doctrine of the Scribes; and, the Doctrine of the Pharisees.

When I think about Jesus today I do so from a perspective many Christians do not.

I see Him as a Legitimate High Priest. I see Him as the Prophet Like Unto Moses prophesied in Deuteronomy 18. From among the brethren of Moses. Whom was himself a Kohathite. The one tribe from which All High Priests are to be selected.

I see Him as "Adonai."

Wherefore the Lord (אדני) "ADONAI" said:

"Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men." -- ISAIAH 29:13

Who said this in the New Testament?
None other than Yeshua. Jesus Himself.

The one who possess the Covenant of Life and Peace. A Covenant that was given exclusively to the Tribe of Levi. The Bread of Life. The Prince of Peace. Titles that are supposed to make us think of the Covenant Malachi writes of. Declared to Him by the Lips of the Living God Himself. Friend I see Him as being the fulfillment of Malachi 2:4 the one who continues the Covenant with Levi.

Cutting of those who are illegitimate; and, deceivers.

Yeshua the one whom many call "Jesus" has a birthright that connects Him directly to the Kohanim. This comes from His mother Mary Alone. Joseph's role is to provide the Kings Throne.

In the Prophet Malachi chapter 2 The LORD of Hosts (a title that I have been able to directly tie to "The Word of the LORD" none other than Yeshua. The LORD of Hosts is his (Pre) tent of flesh title/name. HE is the one speaking to Malachi. He is angry with the Kohen the High Priests. He accuses them:

"But you have departed from the way, You have caused many to stumble at the law. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi" says the LORD of Hosts."

FRIENDS. JESUS IS. THE LORD OF HOSTS. THE LIVING GOD.

HOW? THE LIVING GOD DWELLS WITHIN HIS SON. JESUS IS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. AND. IS THE BODY PREPARED FOR HIMSELF. THE VESSEL FOR THE LIVING GOD TO RESIDE IN FOREVER.

He is the one who said "I know Abraham."

We must be diligent to uncover every stone in search of truth.

This lead me to ask the following questions.

HOW HAVE THEY CORRUPTED HIS COVENANT?

IN WHAT WAY HAVE THEY CORRUPTED HIS COVENANT?

It would be the comparison of the MT (Masoretic Text) to the LXX that gives me renewed zeal to dig. In particular the differences contained within the prophet Ezekiel 28: 15-21 that would trouble me the most.
