TEACH. TEACHERS. TEACHING. TAUGHT.

Have you ever considered WHAT the Bible itself "teaches" its readers about WHO is to be doing the "Teaching?"

Has it ever crossed your mind to examine what it (The Bible) has to say also about WHAT is to be TAUGHT by those empowered to BE the teachers?

This was something recently placed upon my heart to examine. Although both of my adoptive parents were "educators" neither were "teachers." Although I am not a TEACHER (by degree); I have served as a volunteer teaching (MINISTRY) in a men's prison for six (6) years.

When we examine just the Gospel accounts alone we repeatedly find situations where Yeshua his Aramaic name (aka "Jesus") also known as YAHUSHA is himself teaching a crowd.

He does so within the boundaries of the Temple Walls; Synagogues; and, in the open air preaching; and, teaching just as a Levite was expected to. He called the twelve (12) disciples to come and walk according to the Yoke He Himself carried. The Yoke of Torah Moshe.

Having spent approximately ten years in a Messianic Jewish congregation in West Los Angeles helped me to see some of how Messiah is meant to be portrayed to the world; and, not just to those who are "Jewish." Although those days are past they are some of the fondest memories I have over the last decade of my life.

The Study of Torah Moshe (Genesis-Deuteronomy) has also helped me to see what we miss when we are focused upon the New Testament alone. When we start reading a book 75 % of the way thru it's easy to be misled about what roles the character's play. But when we begin reading from page one we have a better more informed perspective.

What we need to see for our own good is what Deuteronomy 18 is telling us about this Prophet Like Unto Moses and what HE comes teaching.

I tell you the truth Messiah CANNOT set aside what is HIS BIRTHRIGHT TO DECLARE TO HIS BRETHREN. I'll say it again Deuteronomy 18 is telling us that this Prophet will be from among the Kohani'im; and, of the Levi'im.

All High Priests (Kohanim) are also "priests" Levi'im; but not all Levi'im; were Kohanim.

It has been a blessing to my own understanding; and, I hope that it will be for you as well. I will be adding a teaching video to this page upon it's completion. Until then I suggest you make use of the data within the "topical" studies I have completed.
