If you are like me then you may have heard other pastors teach on the book of Revelation teaching that the seven churches are indeed (7) different "Church Ages." In fact I enclosed a link to a 314 page book entitled "The Seven Church Ages" written by William Marrion Branham. It is essentially a series of sermons he taught. (LINK IS HERE).

Perhaps you heard these are representative of the challenges the future church would have. Whatever you may have heard I'm going to share with you information that I discovered when I was in College; but, hadn't yet read through completely.
After the Real Estate Market meltdown I found myself in a local Jr. College (I hadn't been yet). My initial landing platform after high school wasn't college; but, rather was active duty in the Marine Corps. While in Jr. College I had the unpleasant experience of debating with a person whom I am convinced now was lying; and, wasn't a Christian at all; but, a Muslim pretending to be "Christian" in order to use his platform to smear Israel; and, the Jews who live there.
At my Junior College there was a rendition of the Israeli security wall in Israel; put on campus during Apartheid week. I found myself arguing with a man who claimed he was a "Palestinian Christian;" and, he was accusing Israel of "occupying" HIS LAND. The wall they had placed on campus included photos of children who had been killed in Gaza.
After arguing with this man about the history of the land (after I pulled out my bible); he asserts to me the following argumentation. Comparing the land of Israel to "a table that someone else made; but, abandoned." His assertion was that "his people" just found the abandoned table; and, now the original owner wants it back; and has no right to it. He also asserted he was a descendant of the Canaanites who dwelt in the land. If he knew what the Torah said about those people (the Canaanites) he wouldn't be so fast to say he was descended from them.
My response was to argue and show him in the Bible where the people were removed from the land because of their disobedience. I clearly showed him Israel didn't abandon the land; they were removed. He next says the most honest thing I heard him say.
"If they aren't going to honor their covenant
with their god; why should I?"
with their god; why should I?"
The point being that he didn't care that the land actually belongs to Israel by decree of the Most High Elohim. He cares about what his Elohim says and teaches.
His statement actually strengthens my argument against the claim that ALLAH OF THE KORAN IS THE SAME ELOHIM AS THE ELOHIM OF THE BIBLE (WHO CALLS HIMSELF YAHUAH OVER 7,000 TIMES).
Around this time I was taking an English course where we were reading a book that was filled with stories of violence. We were given an assignment to do a paper that was a definition; based on the various topics we were reading about. I chose the term "persecution."

It was my very first time to delve into the depths of the debate between Muslims; and, Jews as I sought to understand the WHY behind all the violence in the Middle East. It was the beginning of a journey that would help open my eyes; and, understand both the world around us; and, the Bible I have been trying to understand since I was a child.
When I discovered a very direct link between Adolph Hitler; and, Hajj Amin Al Husseini; and, the Muslim Battalions of Nazi Soldiers during WWII I was concerned why I had never been told this before. It peaked my curiosity and off into Islam I began to read; and, learn about its "prophet."

The very first book I read was "The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World's Most Intolerant Religion" by Robert Spencer. I wanted to immediately dive into the controversy; and, was mindful to listen to BOTH sides of the arguments for; and, against Islam by those who were both supporters; and, staunch opponents.

Not long after I read Spencer's book I had the pleasure to hear a lecture by a man who was visiting our congregation (a local Calvary Chapel just blocks from our home). His name was Don Richardson author of the book "Peace Child" which was about his time learning how to communicate with the Sawi Tribe during his time as a missionary.
It was Don's book about Islam that would capture my attention
Around that time I also became interested in the Dead Sea Scrolls and had attended an exhibit held at APU (Azusa Pacific University). The Next author whose books I would devour was Walid Shoebat's book: "God's War on Terror."
If you haven't read it you are missing a plethora of information from the perspective of a former Muslim about how Islam fits into the scheme of Biblical Eschatology. It is coming whether you like it or not. It has been both simultaneously one of the most revealing; and, exciting books to read on prophecy; and, terrifying to consider its prophetic implications.

Later after I had written the first paper dealing with any Islamic content ("Persecution") I would write a second (2nd) term paper around 70 pages. My instructor that semester told me that I was the best student he had ever had at that point. Frankly I wasn't sure whether to be excited; or, feel sorry for him. Some of the students in my class could barely form a coherent sentence when we did peer review. There were actually students who asserted he should FAIL me because the assignment asked for a minimum of 20 pages; yet I wrote 70. Then I would even later write another term paper (for another English class) that was in excess of 100 pages.

As I did research for my second paper I read several books on Islam; listened to lectures by Muslims; and, even read large sections of the Qu'ran in an effort to understand what was happening in the world around us.
One of he men I interviewed over the telephone for almost an hour was Dr. Bill Warner who is the director for CSPI Publishing. The Center for the Study of Political Islam (CSPI). Of the books I had intended to read (for enclosure of materials within my paper) was authored by Dr. Andrew Bostom:
"The Legacy of Jihad: Islamic Holy War & the Fate of Non-Muslims."
When it arrived by mail I already had several of Dr. Warner's books on my desk; and, was reading through another book written by Ali Sina that I didn't quote in my paper. Dr. Bostom's book was a blistering 759 pages of 10 point font thus upon my shelf it sat. It wasn't until a few years AFTER I wasn't in college (still haven't finished) that I actually bothered to skim through it.
What got my COMPLETE ATTENTION initially was the names of the cities listed in the book of Revelation under the index of places; and, I decided to read what this book had to say about them. It lists (5) five of the seven churches listen in the Book of Revelation. I honestly hadn't studied Islamic History at all up until this point; and, though I had read books about Islam; and, about the Qur'an itself I hadn't studied ANY Islamic History.
This particular book is one of a kind. For the first time in History we now have a book that is based primaily upon Islamic sources that have been translated; and, offered to you that you too might have better; more clear understanding of what their own sources say about their own history.

As I began to read through the pages of this book it became apparent to me that there was a history we have not been exposed to which would throw open our understanding of the Word of YAHUAH; and, illuminate the text. What troubled me the most was what happened to these congregations that are listed in Revelation.
Buried in the back in Appendix A is a list of towns; and, villages that were pillaged; sacked/destroyed; enslaved; captured; massacred; besieged; or, put to flight in Asia Minor.

What is even more interesting is what the Islamic Sources that were used to write this book had to say about what happened in Asia Minor; and, how it plays out just as the Book of Revelation describes.
The Roman Empire was broken into a Western Leg; and, an Eastern Leg (Byzantium) which continued to exist until the 13th Century when the Byzantine Empire was defeated by the Ottoman Turks by Mehemet II; whose nickname was "The Conqueror."

Although the Seljuks were NOT the Empire to Conquer the Eastern Leg of the Roman Empire they were most certainly among those who harassed the Byzantines.

THIS TERM REFERS TO THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CAMPAIGNS IN THE PERIOD BETWEEN 1096 - 1271. THERE WERE AT LEAST 8 EIGHT CRUSADES.
The crusades themselves were a defensive response by Christendom to recapture lands taken through ISLAMIC IMPERIAL EXPANSION (based upon the Islamic Doctrine of Perpetual War); and, through offensive reasoning; as well as defensive forms of Jihad. Jihad isn't just fought with the Sword; but, can also be waged with the pen; ones wealth; and, time in the cause of Allah.

THE BOOK OF JOB DECLARES VERY DIRECTLY THAT HE DWELT IN THE LAND OF UZ. IT IS ARGUABLY THE OLDEST BOOK IN THE BIBLICAL COLLECTION.
WHAT I FIND INTRIGUING / DISTURBING ARE THE TERMS WHICH ARE EITHER DIRECT GEOGRAPHICAL MARKERS (IN THE BOOK OF JOB) THAT GIVE US STRONG CLUES AS TO WHERE HE ACTUALLY LIVED; OR, TERMS USED TO DESCRIBE JOB'S THREE FRIENDS WHO HAVE THEIR OWN THEOLOGICAL UNDERSTANDING OF WHO THE CREATOR IS.
WE DISCOVER THROUGH THEIR DIALOGUE WITH JOB THAT THEY BELIEVE THEY KNOW THE CREATOR; AND, THAT THESE THREE MEN BELIEVE THEMSELVES TO BE RIGHTEOUS. THESE THREE REPEATEDLY DERIDE JOB; YET, IT IS CLEAR THEY ARE NEVER ANSWERED BY THE ALMIGHTY.
RATHER IT IS JOB OF WHOM THE ALMIGHTY CHOOSES TO RESPOND TO BEGINNING IN CHAPTER 38. THAT HE ONLY ANSWERS JOB; AND, NOT THE OTHER THREE MEN INDICATE THAT THEY NEITHER KNOW HIM; NOR, DOES YAHUAH DESIRE TO EVEN SPEAK TO THEM.
THE TEXT OF JOB DECLARES THAT HE (JOB) WAS UPRIGHT (A TERM SYNONYMOUS WITH RIGHTEOUS (-NESS); AND, THAT HE SHUNNED EVIL. YAHUAH CHOOSES TO RESPOND DIRECTLY TO JOB.

- Job was the greatest of all the people of the East (Job 1:3)

- The Chaldeans - raided Job's CAMELS; stealing them; putting servants to death (Job 1:17). In order for this to occur they must have been within range of the Chaldeans; as well as the Sabians. Of these four constellations which Job speaks of in Job 9:9 not all are visible across the globe by all peoples. The Great Bear [URSA MAJOR] is one of the 88 Constellations; and, though it is primarily visible from the northern hemisphere; it is also visible from the southern hemisphere as well.
The Constellation Orion is one of the most recognized; and, prominent of the constellations which is situated along the ecliptic; and, is visible worldwide. I want to remind you that Ephraim; and, Manasseh are the "double portion" for Joseph who dwelt SEPARATE from his brothers (All of Jacob). They are the fruitful bough that goes over the wall (outside the borders of Israel). They are also the only offspring from the son of Jacob's wife Rachael whom he loved (IMPORTANT).
Ephraim can mean "double blessing;" but, it can also mean "double ash heap."
The ancient name for the constellation Pleiades in Aramaic (Syriac) was Sukkot "booths." It is a representation of the congregation together [Can thou bind the cluster of the Pleiades?] Meaning can you physically tie together in love the congregation of the Judge? (Job 38:31)
Obviously Job must answer NO. But the creator CAN.

We are instructed later on page 467 the following:

As I continued to read on the following page (468) about an Arab Traveler named Ibn Batouta who had chronicled his travels when he was in Asia Minor witnessing what the aftermath of the Islamic conquerors would be upon the inhabitants; it began to occur to me that THIS is what the book of Revelation was talking about in the letters to the seven (7) churches.
NOT ONLY ARE THEY SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THE BOOK REVELATION; BUT, ALSO SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THIS MUSLIM MAN'S THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT OF WHAT HE SAW! (THIRD PARTY NON-BIBLICAL CORROBORATION IS OFTEN THE STRONGEST.)
If you want to ignore this evidence be my guest; however, it is too important for me to ignore. Here is what Dr. Andrew Bostom records on (pg: 468, Chapter 42):
"One source that is still insufficiently utilized ; and, which presents a VERY CLEAR PICTURE of the devastation perpetuated by the Turks in Asia Minor; and, of the evils endured upon the population at the time of the Turkish conquest, is the work of the Arab traveler Ibn Batouta. The once popular city of Pergamus, he writes, was 'in ruins.' Much of the port of Smyrna had been destroyed. Nicea, the capital of the Osmanlis Turks, "was in ruins; and, was inhabited only by a small number of the emir's subjects." In many localities, the Greek population was greatly reduced; or, had completely disappeared; and, the Turks had settled in its place. The Christian Churches were destroyed; or, had been turned into mosques. Such was the case, for example, with the exceptionally beautiful church of Ephesus, where now the worship prescribed by Muhammad was celebrated. What Batouta tells us about the transformation of Christian Churches into Mosques is confirmed, moreover, by Turkish sources (Seadeddin, Nesri, the anonymous chronicles, etc.)."
AGAIN NOTICE HOW SEVERAL OF THOSE CHURCHES LISTED IN REVELATION APPEAR. ALL OF THESE CONGREGATIONS LISTED WERE DESTROYED IN THE 13TH CENTURY BY THE OTTOMAN TURKS.

The Letters to the Seven Churches are both a warning to the WORLD about Islam; and, more prophecy to prove to us that OUR ELOHIM is the True and Living God. How else can he know the end from the beginning?
Within these letters we are told what Messiah has AGAINST the churches; and, repeatedly admonishes them to REPENT; OR, I WILL COME AND FIGHT AGAINST YOU WITH THE SWORD. Isn't that the same warning that was given in the TaNaK over; and, over; and, over again to the Children of Israel?
For a Muslim this might sound very much like Muhammad! However the Creator is warning us that If we do not repent; he will bring the worst of the Gentiles out against us just as he did when he allowed King Nebuchadnezzar to come against Judah. Here are some of the things he has against them:

You have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen: repent and do the first works; or, else I will come to you quickly; and, remove your lamp stand from its place--unless you repent.
When we search the Bible for the phrase "first love" we turn up nothing. However searching in Blue Letter Bible for "first" and, "love" together four passage came up and one in particular caught my attentions directly because it was the words of Messiah Himself. Mark 12:30:
"And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart ; with all your soul; with all your mind; and, with all your strength." This is the first commandments."
I'm going to assert to you that the biblical definition of "REPENTANCE" is to RETURN to the observance OF THE WRITTEN TORAH (which is precisely what Jesus was teaching to those who followed Him in the Gospel accounts). What did He say? GO AND SIN NO MORE.
If you stop sinning then it means you are observing his commandments because sin comes from the BREAKING OF; REJECTION OF; FAILURE TO DO HIS COMMANDMENTS; statues; judgments; ordinances; and, testimonies of the one called YAHUAH over 7,000 times in the text of the TaNaK.
He manifested Himself by overshadowing the virgin Mary; and, being born of flesh. The tent of flesh He dwelt in was damaged beyond repair; and, he was buried. Thankfully YAHUAH raised Him from the dead to PROVE to us that he is who he declares himself to be.
If you aren't certain that Messiah delivered the Written Torah to Moses then I humbly ask you to examine my four (4) part study on Messiah.
He was not calling people to abandon the Written Torah; but, rather to abandon the oral traditions of the Rabbis that THEY were teaching as commandments from YAHUAH! They were telling the people that these additional enactments were from YAHUAH; but, they didn't know that they were in the presence of the very one who wrote them by His own hand delivering them to Moses; because HE is the Manifestation of YAHUAH and is THE MESSENGER; and, they killed Him for it.

I'm going to assert to you that the one many call "Jesus" whom I call YAHUSHA (HEBREW RENDERING); (YESHUA IS AN ARAMAIC NAME; and, a Hebrew word meaning "Salvation") is the very same ONE in the burning bush who spoke to Moses. He is the same one who spoke to Abraham; Isaac; and, who wrestled with Jacob. He is the same one who appeared to the parents of Sampson; and, who appears to Solomon twice!
He is the very one of whom the Written Torah declares was SEEN by Nadab; Abihu; and, SEVENTY (70) of the Elders of Israel as they ate; and, drank upon the mountain in HIS PRESENCE. .It also declares that MOSES was the ONLY ONE HE LAID HANDS UPON.
HINT do a study on "presence."
The one many call "Jesus" out of error are indeed praying to THE PRESENCE of YAHUAH WHO IS COMING TO JUDGE THE EARTH WITH FIRE. He will allow all the curses written in the Written Torah to come upon not just those who are Jewish; but, all Israel including those grafted in by the blood of Messiah; and, who have faith in him.
We are NOT appointed to HIS WRATH; but, we are NOT EXEMPT from the wrath of Satan; and, those who serve him.
Should you be within the camp where you still believe that Jesus did away with the law I humbly ask you to really dig through my paper:
I want to be clear; I am NOT ADVOCATING WE RETURN TO SLAUGHTERING BULLS; AND, GOATS. But Rather that we examine ourselves for the behavior patterns that the Written Torah defines as "abomination;" or, "wicked;" or, "unclean;" and, ABANDON THEM.
I'm going to advocate that we learn; and, observe the Creator's Calendar because it is part of what those who love Him; and, Keep His Commandments do. If we do He wants to give us more time off than a Federal Employee of the United States gets!!! AND if we study His calendar; HIS FEASTS they tell us (reveal to us) the Feast/Moedim of His return. Not the Day or the Hour; but the Season Of His Return. Do you know?

Interestingly enough this particular "star" in the Pleadies can no longer be seen even though antiquity declares it could be. When I discovered there was a connection between the arrangement of the 7 churches; and, the Pleiades I was intrigued. Here is a photo for comparison.
