BUT JESUS FULFILLED THE LAW...RIGHT?

Hello Neighbor,

In Matthew 5:17 (NLKV) Messiah himself declares the following:

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Can you show me just (1) one passage in the Gospels; just one, that indicated the Scribes and Pharisees were (as a whole) considered to be "righteous?" You can't. Just look at all the terms Yeshua used to describe them in Matthew 23.

"...for YE shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; and, neither do you go in..." "hypocrites" He called them. John called them a "generation of vipers." Yeshua also declared woe against them also calling them "fools" and "blind;" that they have committed the weightier things of the law judgment, mercy; and, faith. Yeshua declares that INSIDE they are "full of extortion and excess;" "full of hypocrisy and iniquity;" "serpents" "Vipers"

YESHUA IS SAYING. THEY WEREN'T RIGHTEOUS.
YOU MUST DO BETTER THAN THEY.

There are today within Christianity; and, many teachers throughout the ages, who have taught from the pulpit that Jesus’s death upon the cross of Calvary at Golgotha has the effect of setting aside the Written Torah given to Moses by יהוה YHVH upon Mt. Sinai.

Although we won’t cover it within this particular study; it is my own understanding that Jesus pre-existed his birth by the virgin Mary. It is also my understanding that He is everywhere in the Old Testament; including upon the Mount of Sinai

He is the only part of the godhead we can perceive with our eyes as a man.
The Father; and, the Holy Spirit themselves; are never visably seen, anywhere.

There are in fact two (2) YHVH’s in the bible’s Text that can be observed in the same passage in a few places. If you have interest in this I strongly recommend you listen to Dr. Michael Heiser’s teaching on the Two Power’s In Heaven Doctrine. It is based not only upon Psalm 110; but also upon Genesis 10:24; Genesis 15: 4-7; and, Judges 6: 11-16.

One is the Father ( יהוה ) who is never seen (according to the New Testament. See: John 1:18; 1 Titus 6:16, 1 John 4:12. The other is the Image of the Father.  (Col 1:15) and is SEEN all throughout the TaNaK.

It is my assertion that Yeshua the Son of the Living God was the very being who was SEEN by Nadab, Abihu; and, 70 of the Elders who ate and drank in His presence. (Please see Exodus 24:9-11) He is also the only one who laid His hands upon Moses. The very one who wrote down the instructions with His own fingers  TWICE

Surely He knows what He said.
Surely He knows what He wrote.

In the Aramaic New Testament called the "Peshitta" (which the majority in the West have never read) 32 TIMES Jesus declares very plainly; I am the Living God” tying His identity directly to the being who delivered the instructions; and, whose voice was heard.

Friend, if no one has seen God at any time ( John 1:18; 1 Titus 6:16, 1 John 4:12 ) then the Father ( יהוה ) wasn’t the one who was SEEN upon the Mount of Sinai. I'm asking you to really think about this. THINK.

It would have to have been the Messenger, the Word of the LORD who was SEEN. The one who would choose to die for you; and, for me, by becoming flesh, and, sanctifying Himself through the Word as an example to us for HOW to do the same; just as He did.

His intention is to rescue us from Spiritual Death.

  • "Sanctify them by your truth, your word is truth" John 17:17
  • "And for their sakes, I sanctify myself, that they also may be                             sanctified by the truthJohn 17:18

Yeshua isn't just waiving His hands like a magician saying "shazam I'm sanctified because I say so." No. Friend what He means is that He sanctifies Himself. Through His own reading of the word that has been given, through His understanding of the word; and, His choice to Wisely walk it out in His daily life. He is showing us that we should do just like He did. Do you think Messiah knew the text? If he Knew it; and, we are to be His servants; we should know it just as well.

"Every servant after He is fully trained ( κατηρτισμένος );
becomes like His teacher." Luke 6: 40

The Word is what repairs us. Makes us complete. It equips us. Prepares us for service.
It strengthens what is weak. Makes wise what is foolish. Perfects us. Makes us complete.
"The Law of YHVH (
יהוה) is perfect converting the Soul." Psalm 19:7.
Making us what we ought to be.

If we are in a right relationship with the one who delivered the instructions to Moses on Mt. Sinai with His own fingers; then the law itself is profitable to us. It helps guide us in the Ways of YHVH (יהוה). But, without a deep intimate relationship with Messiah. The one who forgives sin. The one who purchased you with His own blood. The law becomes unprofitable to the one who is without it. Why?

Because the individual lacks what is needed to be obedient.

Fear, Wisdom, Knowledge

I tell you the truth. Only the Holy Spirit; the Torah of YHVH (יהוה) and, Messiah Yeshua Himself can cause one who is foolish; and, unwise to fear; and, then become wise; to then choose repentance from that which is unprofitable. To repent from dead works. Out of Fear. Wisdom. And great Love for the one who offers us the word that we might sanctify ourselves; just as He sanctified Himself.

Monkey see. Monkey do. Look at what He does. Look at how He lives. Pay close attention to what He obeys; and, what He rejects. Yeshua is not teaching against the Written Torah. He is teaching against the Oral Traditions of the Fathers. The Oral Law. I assert to you neighbor; that it was the Oral Law Yeshua nails to the Cross. Putting them to death. Not the Written Torah. Just chew on that and keep reading.

We don’t see Yeshua in the Old Testament because we are looking for the name Yeshua. You won’t ever find Him that way. Because; He was never called that, until he humbled Himself to be born of flesh via a virgin to dwell among men.

We are told that YHVH ( יהוה ) is a Father. A Son. A Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19.

Within the TaNaK’s text if we carefully examine the Hebrew we can find all three. Except you won’t find the Name “Yeshua” or “Jesus” used. If you want to see Him you need to start with the Language John used. The Word. Dabar in Hebrew.

DABAR YHVH ( דבר יהוה ) ”THE WORD OF THE LORD”

Friend I have in another video study taken the time to help you see where you can find Yeshua the one you call “Jesus” in the TaNaK; before He dwelt in a tent of flesh. You can watch it by clicking the link below the photo below.

Many of these same men teach their congregants that Christians are not obligated to keep the Torah. Whatsoever. If the Torah was set aside; why isn’t it also set aside for the Jew? To say it doesn’t apply to us; but, only to them makes zero sense. If He sets it aside; wouldn't He be setting it aside for ALL?

Does Jesus use a different standard of Judgment for the Jews vs. the Non-Jew? I assert NO.

Why then are they so quick to ask their congregants to tithe? Initially ONLY  THE LEVITE could receive a Title. The tithe was supposed to go to the Levite; who was then responsible to ensure it went to the stranger, the fatherless, the widow, the orphan.

Yet where do these “tithes” go today?

They go towards debt servicing for the building itself, towards salaries, electric bills, water bills, insurance, the pastor’s salary, sometimes even the pastor’s very fancy luxury car. Line items on a K1 that were never meant to be covered by the tithe. Today we even have pastors who have multi men security details. How much is left over for those who are legally supposed to receive it?

We are going about things all wrong.

Friend. These 613 Commandments do not ALL; apply to ALL people. Were you aware of that? Without a better understanding of the instructions that statement probably sounds like “cherry picking?”

Allow me to explain.

Some instructions are for Kings, are you a king? No? Well those instructions don’t apply to you then, do they? Other instructions are for Priests. Are you a priest? No? Then those instructions don’t apply to you either. Then there are instructions for farmers, and even those specifically for women. If you aren’t a farmer; or a woman then those aren’t or you either. Who knows. Someday you might be a farmer too; if that were to happen, those instructions to allow the poor to glean on your field will make sense to you.

All of the instructions which apply to the common people; are likewise expected of the stranger; and, the foreigner who dwell in the land along with the native born. One standard. One Law. Not a duel standard.

In the New Testament book of Revelation it declares in Rev. 1:6 and Rev. 5:10 that we are “made into Kings and Priests,” the Whole Nation. So. If that is His intention and we are to rule as Kings; and, Priests; then perhaps we should learn what instructions ARE for Kings and Priests so when it comes time we know what we are supposed to be teaching; and, doing.

If you and I don’t embrace the instructions that apply to us as common people today; what makes you think Yeshua will make you a King Priest? If we are unfaithful with little; we shall be unfaithful with much. Learn to become faithful that you might be appropriately trained; knowing rightly how to divide the truth.

1,050 Laws in the New Testament

Were you aware that many of these laws from the Written Torah are simply restated in the New Testament? Friends. Messiah doesn’t come to create a lawless people. He comes to draw us back to obedience. Those teaching that Jesus sets aside the Written Torah; influence others who follow them to reject the feasts (Moed’im) which are all about Messiah calling them “Jewish.”

Christians today as a whole reject the seven (7) commanded feasts of YHVH ( יהוה ). Feasts that are all about the Messiah. Many don’t even realize how the Feasts themselves are Prophetic and their study helps reveal things about Messiah; and, the Timing of His Return.

  • Feast of Passover
  • Feast of Unleavened Bread
  • First Fruits
  • Feast of Weeks Pentecost
  • Feast of Trumpets
  • The Day of Atonement
  • Tabernacles

Likewise many reject the Sabbath(s), and, their observances; along with almost all the rest of the instructions contained within the Written Torah (Genesis -Deuteronomy).

“Those are for the Jews; but, WE are under gracethey say.

Were you aware that the Prophet Isaiah declares; those who are wicked don’t learn the instructions?

“Let grace be shown to the wicked; yet, he will not learn righteousness”                                        -- Isaiah 26:10

For those of you who have bothered to read/study out the Psalms then perhaps you are familiar with this particular passage:

“My tongue shall speak of Your word; for all your commandments are righteousness.”            -- Psalm 119:172

Friends even those who are wicked are shown grace. Today many Christians declare boldly that they are under, Grace. Yet their very rejection of the instructions of the written Torah means that they themselves have not learned the commandments.

Their lifestyle actually confirms that they are wicked. The commandments which come from the Most High; are righteousness. All of them.

This assertion about grace is often coupled with the teaching that no one is righteous; and, that no one can actually keep; or “obey” the Instructions within the Written Torah. The problem with that statement is that the bible actually teaches something else.

“In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.”

1 John 3:10

Likewise it teaches this.

Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous

1 John 3:7

Neighbor. Do you practice Sabbath? Yes? No? If not; why not? There are blessings that are attached to the observance of Sabbath. I personally would LIKE to receive those blessings; wouldn’t you? I want you to be the beneficiary of these blessings; that your children; and, grand children to many successive generations would know the love, mercy; and, grace of the Messiah as they celebrate with Him. True Blessings.

Do you not know that the New Testament declares that Yeshua “Jesus” is the one who created all things? Ephesians 3:9, Revelation 4:10, Colossians 1:16. If that is true; and, I believe it to be. Then HE is the one who was busy for six days and needed to rest on the 7th. Apparently he was tired; and, needed rest. It means that when Jesus Himself declares that He is “Lord of the Sabbath;” He is giving you an enormous, humongous, fantast-aboulous clue.

Do you practice the Feasts?

Do you practice what the Bible calls “righteous” or “righteousness?”

I didn’t ask if you it you kept the instructions “perfectly.”

I asked it you practiced them. There is a difference.

Friend, Practice makes perfect. We are 100% most positively NOT perfect when we begin. Not even close. We are woefully, and completely blinded by ignorance which is part of the curse. Yeshua “Jesus” Himself declared that we were evil; that should be our starting point. We should automatically assume that we are evil; and, that we are in need of discovering EVERYTHING He declares through the Written Torah that He calls evil; to the end (goal)

that we might abandon it. All of it.

Your own grief; over your own sinfullness, should drive you towards Messiah.
He is the only one who can offer you mercy.
He is the only one who can offer you life.

The first time this word is used is in Genesis 2:9. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Tree that has brought a curse to the Sons of Adam. A Curse of Death. Without the Knowledge of Good and Evil; death would never have entered. Thus through Adam mankind is cursed; and, destined for spiritual death. Adam couldn’t practice righteousness; because it wasn’t offered to Him. Rather it was offered later in order to rescue us. Righteousness was offered in order to SAVE. To give us the knowledge we need to survive the judgment.

It takes a LOT of practice to become “perfect.” The more we practice the easier it gets. The more we practice; the more obedience becomes second nature to us. The more we practice obedience; the easier it gets to say “no” to what is wicked; and, say “yes” to what is righteous. I suspect that is why Jesus declares we are to forgive so frequently; and, so completely.

Matthew 18:21-22 “Then Peter came to Him and said, ‘Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me; and, I forgive him? Up to Seven times?’

Jesus said to Him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times; but, up to seventy times.’”

In the Aramaic Peshitta and the Greek of the Textus Receptus it declares 70 x 77 which would equal 5,390 times. That’s a lot of forgiveness!!! 70 signifies perfect spiritual order, completeness, and divine judgment. 70 x 77 means a limitless, habitual forgiveness rather than a literal quota.

Friends it seems that to Messiah Yeshua; forgiveness is really important. He even declares that if we do not forgive others for their sins that neither will the Father forgive us. In Exodus 32:32 Moses asks God to forgive His people; but, if not Moses asks instead that YHVH (יהוה) would blot himself (Moses) out of the Book of Life.

Wow. As a Marine. I have MAD RESPECT for Moses. That dude had A SERIOUS SET OF BALLS. Either you FORGIVE these people or you just BLOT ME OUT. What a set of stones Moses has. He is saying essentially to YHVH (יהוה); if you aren’t a forgiving God then I don’t want to have anything to do with you. Just Blot Me out. Just Kill Me.

I don’t know about you; but, I need forgiveness.

There are many today teaching young men; and, women have no need to seek to walk in the Torah of YHVH ( יהוה ). Instead they are taught a doctrine of “hyper-grace” that never really addresses the need for holiness. A doctrine of Grace that ignores holiness; a doctrine that is near to the truth; but, that deviates from it just enough to deceive.

This is done so by men who are “untaught” and, “unstable” which we shall cover in another study. Paul is often cited to teach against the words of Messiah Himself; but, done so by men who aren’t aware that Paul is citing the Psalms. They fail to actually read, chew upon the text; and, come to the proper understanding. Many instead just regurgitate what they heard from their teacher(s) as they pass along this folly to many.

Romans 3:10-18 are among the passages which are used to teach against Torah observance. Here it is in its fullness:

“As it is written:

There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one. Their throat [is] an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips; Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet [are] swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery [are] in their ways; And the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

In this passage of Romans. Paul is actually citing the Hebrew TaNaK; the Hebrew Old Testament. TaNaK is just an acronym meaning: Torah & Nevi’im & Ketuv’im. Paul is citing passages that compare; and, contrast the wicked vs. the righteous. Many in error use Paul to teach that no one can possibly be obedient. Which isn't what the Bible itself is teaching.

We should be diligent to read them.

  • Ecclesiastes 7:20: Friend. Read the Entire Chapter.

Ecclesiastes declares to us that even the just “sin.” In the event that you are unaware; not all sins lead to death. Some are more destructive than others.

    See: 1 John 5:17; Romans 6:16; Romans 8:2; 1 John 5:16

  • Psalms 14:1-3: Friend. Read the entire Chapter.

As you do be diligent to take notice of how the Psalmist compares and contrasts “fool & workers of Iniquity” vs. “the righteous

  • Psalms 5:9: Friend. Read the Entire Chapter.

In this particular Psalm written by David he again compares; and, contrasts
    the righteous vs. the wicked.

"My voice you shall hear in the morning oh YHVH. In the morning I will direct it to you, and, i will look up."
" But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; in fear of You, I will worship towards Your Holy Temple. Lead me oh YHVH (יהוה) in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face.

Here is what He says about those given to wickedness.

He calls them EVIL, boastful, workers of iniquity, who speak falsehood; bloodthirsty; and, deceitful. He declares there is no faithfulness in their mouth, their inward part is destruction, their throat is an open tomb, they flatter with the tongue.

They shall be pronounced guilty. They shall fall. They shall be cast out in the multitude of their transgressions. For they have rebelled against you.

  • Psalms 140:3: Again. Friend. Please read the entire chapter.

As you do take note that these “evil men” are “violent;” “they continually gather together for war,” they “purposed to make my steps stumble” they are “proud,” they are “wicked” they are all “workers of iniquity” who are destined to be “cast into the fire, into deep pits, that they rise not again.”

Yet at the end of the Psalm he declares “surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in your presence.”

  • Psalms 10:7: Read the Entire Chapter

  • Isaiah 59:7, 8: Read the Entire Chapter

  • Psalms 36:1: Read the Entire Chapter

Here within this comprehensive study available to you below we have tested that “idea, doctrine, teaching” by carefully examining the usage; and, appearance of the term(s) destroy ( καταλυσαι ) “katalusai;” and, fulfill ( πληρωσαι ) “plerosai” within the text of the Bible. What I have written here on this page is just an introduction; and, some things to really consider.

This study in its completed form shall help you to see that something is wrong with our doctrine. Something we need to correct. I hope that this study will bless you and expand your understanding of what Messiah actually said; and, what His intentions are for us.

In the event you cannot read the PDF document I have posted please feel free to right-click; and, download the document for yourself. DOWNLOAD HERE.

The Work is MY OWN. Freely Messiah gave to me; freely share it with others. Knowledge is power; and, understanding of His word leads us to the truth which sets us free

Free from the bondage of sin; and, death.
