Did you know that one of the earliest historians; a man named Berosus (also spelled Berossus) who was also a 3rd Century B.C. Chaldean priest of Bel asserted that Abraham was AN ASTRONOMER? 

Although I took an Astronomy class in College it didn't really teach me what I had hoped; and, we spent literally ZERO time observing ANYTHING with telescopes; and, instead spent more time in a text book. Here is a quotation from Josephus about Abraham:

He [Abraham] communicated to them arithmetic; and, delivered to them the science of Astronomy; for, before Abraham came into Egypt they were unacquainted with those parts of learning; for that part of science came from the Chaldeans into Egypt; and, from thence to the Greeks also." -- The Works of Flavius Josephus, the Learned and Authentic Jewish Historian, By Flavius Josephus pg 39
