Isaiah 10 and the rise of Islam 

If you don’t understand the rise of Islam  as a political and military power in the Middle East and abroad, read Isaiah 10 and pay careful attention to the eschatological end time language like “when the LORD performs His whole work on mount Zion and Jerusalem” which is yet future and God’s final restoration of Israel as he punishes the king of Assyria.

In verse 5 God says the Assyrian will be the rod of God’s anger against his disobedient children, especially the unbelieving Jews living in the land of Israel. The Assyrian (king of Babylon in 14:4) is the Antichrist who will rise out of the region of Syria and Iraq who will bring a massive Islamic army against Jerusalem and those western nations that are supposed allies of Israel (from Islam’s perspective) like Western Europe and the USA.

The current invasion of Europe by Muslims is part of the Islamic plan to inflict terror on the hearts of the “infidels.” God will use Islam to chastise His disobedient children like when He used Assyria and Babylon  to chastise the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of  Judah in the Old Testament. The Assyrians and the Babylonians were God’s rod of chastisement against his disobedient children. The Assyrians and the Babylonians worshipped the sun, moon and stars.

Islam also worships the sun, moon and stars. History is repeating itself and the last days are here. It is time to sound the trumpet and warn the world that hard times and days of darkness are coming upon the world.
(Joel 2, Zephaniah 1, Matthew 24, Daniel 12)

Who could have ever imagined that the Assyrians and the Babylonians, who worshipped the sun, moon, and stars, would return to terrorize the people of God? Carefully compare the images below.

God Says "I Will Break The Assyrian In My Land"

God says: “I will break the Assyrian in My land.”

“That I will break the Assyrian in My land, And on My mountains tread him underfoot. Then his yoke shall be removed from them (Israel), And his burden removed from their shoulders.”
(Isaiah 14:25)

If you read Isaiah 13 & 14 as single chapter without considering the chapter division, you will discover that those chapters are about the Day of the LORD (13:9-10) when the sun and moon do not give their light and the stars fall from heaven. The context is about the future destruction of Babylon in the land of the Chaldees (13:19).

The subject continues with the future and final  restoration of Israel who will sing a proverb against the king of Babylon (14:1-4). In 14:12-15 we discover that Lucifer is the power behind this king of Babylon who becomes a man in 14:16. In 14:25 God calls him “the Assyrian” whom God will break in His (God’s) land and stop his oppression against Israel.

Isaiah 13 & 14 is an eschatological end time passage referring to none other than the Antichrist who is called the “king of Babylon” who is empowered by Lucifer and who is an Assyrian. This Assyrian Antichrist is associated with the land of Nimrod in Micah 5:5-6 and according to Genesis 10:8-11, Nimrod’s land are the cities he built in the land of Shinar and Nineveh in Assyria.

  

What does God mean by “My land” in Isaiah 14:25?
In Genesis 15 we read:

  

According to this passage, the land that God gave to Abraham’s descendants stretches from the Nile River in Egypt all the way to the River Euphrates in Iraq as seen on the image below.

  

This land included the very land that Satan chose to create a world empire under Nimrod at the time of the building of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 10 & 11. When we dig deeper, we discover that Satan wants this portion of land back so he can reestablish his end time empire under the Antichrist in the region of ancient Assyria and Babylon so he can finally destroy God’s people Israel living next door.

No wonder Isaiah says the Antichrist will be the king of Babylon who will be empowered by Satan/Lucifer and will be an Assyrian. We must look for the revival of the Babylonian empire in the land of Iraq in the coming days. This land is part of God’s original land that He gave to the Israelites and that is where God will destroy the Assyrian Antichrist king of Babylon, the land of Iraq.

The Possible Biblical Reason Why There is an
Islamic Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem

2 Kings 21:4 (NKJV) “He also built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “In Jerusalem I will put My name.”

 The God of the Bible said that the place where He chose to put his name is the city of Jerusalem, more specifically the Temple Mount where the Israelites built the house of the LORD.

In Isaiah 14:12-15 we read that Satan fell from heaven and that his wish was to ascend (be exalted) above the clouds to be like the Most High God. Satan also said he would sit on the “mount of the congregation” (verse 13). 

This apparently is a clear reference to Satan’s desire to be worshiped like God by sitting on the mount of the congregation of Israel, the site of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where the house of the LORD was built.

Now here is the interesting thing about this passage. The Hebrew word for “ascend” is the Hebrew word “ALAH.” The word means “to ascend”, “to go up” and “to exalt”. Is it possible that Isaiah is giving us the identity Satan would use to sit on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem by using the word ALAH in Hebrew?

Soon after Mohammed supposedly received divine revelations from the Islamic god “Allah” brought  to him by an “archangel” named Gabriel, Mohammed sought to conquer lands for Allah until he reached Jerusalem. 

Islamic tradition believes that  Mohammed miraculously ascended to heaven from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and as a result, Muslims decided, under the Umayyad Caliphate, to build an Islamic mosque on the Temple Mount, the very site where Yahweh God chose to put his name and to have a house or temple built for him. 

“For you (Satan) have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend (ALAH)  into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation (the Temple Mount) On the farthest sides of the north;” (Isaiah 14:13)

Why does Satan want to sit on the furthest sides of the north? Because that is where Mount Zion, the mount of God, the Temple Mount is.

“Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the “sides of the north, the city of the great King.” (Psalm 48:2)

It is possible that the Hebrew text is giving us a clue about Satan’s identity to be used as he wishes to be exalted above the stars of God and as he sits on the mount of the congregation, the Temple Mount where God chose to place his divine name.
 
We know that when the Messiah Jesus returns, he will rebuild the Temple of the LORD on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where He will reign as king for a thousand years (Zechariah 6:12-13). We also know that prophecy seems to clearly indicate that Judaism will build a temporary temple which will be desecrated by the Islamic Antichrist. 

For now, the abomination of desolation seems to have been partially fulfilled in the spiritual and physical realms with Satan sitting on the Temple Mount in an Islamic mosque as “Allah” which desecrates the name of Christ by having writings on its walls which say that God is not a son and that He can’t have a son, a direct blasphemy denying that the Messiah Jesus is the son of God.

Lucifer Son of the Howling Morning

Lucifer, The Son of the “howling” morning

When we read Isaiah 14:12 in the English, we don’t realize that one word from the original is not translated. Below are images of the original and the meaning of the untranslated word “yalal.”

Notice that the Hebrew word YALAL is not translated into English. The word means “howl”, “howling”, or “to make a howling” as seen below.

The original name of Lucifer in Hebrew is “Helel Ben Sachar”. Former Muslim Walid Shoebat and Stephen Pidgeon who is the editor of The CEPHER Bible have pointed out that the name Helel Ben Sachar has a connection to the crescent and star of Islam as the term for “crescent” in Arabic is “Hilal” which would be the same as the Hebrew “Helel” translated as Lucifer in English.

The Eth Cepher Bible translates Isaiah 14:12 as follows:

 The Islamic Crescent and Star

If we literally translate Isaiah 14:12 and insert the untranslated word “howling”, Isaiah 14:12 would read as follows:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O crescent moon and star, son of the howling morning.”

But what does the “howling morning” mean, you might ask?

If you live in or have visited a Middle Eastern Muslim country, you know that every Islamic mosque has a minaret tower with an Islamic crescent and star with loudspeakers and that every morning there is a call to prayer which is similar to a howling sound. It is also interesting to note that dogs “howl” at the “howling” sound of the Islamic call to prayer. 

Just do a google search on this and you will find that to be true. Below is a related video.

We can’t tell for sure whether the Hebrew word “yalal” is really referring to the howling sound of the Islamic call to prayer but it is interesting to note that there might be a connection there and that it could be another proof, among many others, that Islam is the system that Satan created to bring forth the Antichrist and his religious empire that will persecute the people of God In the last days.

In our previous articles titled “Forget Lucifer: Isaiah 14 is About Islam and Muhammed” and “Heylel, Son of the Dawn, Allah, Lord of the Dawn” we explored how the Hebrew word “Heylel” often translated as “Lucifer” or “morning star” is etymologically linked to the Arabic word “Hilal” which translates as “crescent moon.”

Below is a screenshot of the etymology for Hilal and how it’s is cognate (has the same linguistic roots) as the Hebrew word “Halal” which is the root of the word “Heylel” in Isaiah 14:12.

We also explored in one of those articles how Isaiah 13 & 14 are about the future destruction of Babylon and it’s ruler who will be the Antichrist himself who shall rise in the Middle East as a radical Islamic leader.

Today I decided to check Arabic translations of Isaiah. I copied the text of Isaiah 14:12 in Arabic and pasted it to Google Translate and I was shocked to discover that the word “Hilal” is in fact used to describe what we know in English as “Lucifer” and “morning star.” Though I was shocked with that finding, I was not surprised a bit that the word would be translated as “crescent” on Google Translate.”

Notice the Arabic word “Hilal” in blue on the text of Isaiah 14:12 below.

كَيْفَ سَقَطْتَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، يَا هِلَالَ الفَجْرِ. كَيْفَ أُسقِطتَ إلَى الأرْضِ، يَا هَازِمَ الأُمَمِ؟

This leaves no doubt in my mind that Islam’s rise as a system was foretold centuries in advance when Isaiah was prophesying the future destruction of Babylon, the fall of the king of a Babylon and the “crescent of the dawn” being the dark spiritual force behind Babylon and its ruler.

Other translation in Arabic removed the word “Hilal” and replaced it with two distinct words. One translation used the Arabic phrase “zahrat bint alsubha” which translates as “ O flower, son of the morning.” Another translation used the phrase “ya zuharatu, bint alsubhi” which translates as “O Venus, son of the morning.”

The Easy to Read Version linked above uses the phrase “ya hilal alfajri” which translates as “O crescent of the dawn.” I don’t know what caused these discrepancies in translations but one can suspect that Muslim authorities in Arab countries would not allow the word Hilal for crescent moon, the official symbol of Islam, to be used and published so the identity of Islam would not be associated with the evil system of Babylon and its ruler in Isaiah 14.

Given the fact that the Arabic word Hilal is cognate with the Hebrew word Halal which is the root word of Heylel, I think it’s safe to assume that the Easy to Read Translation of the Arabic Bible got it right.

As we saw in the beginning, Heylel is called the son of the morning or “dawn” and Allah is called the Lord of the “dawn” in the Quran. Is this another coincidence or is it possible that due to advancements in technology and information we are beginning to understand what ancient prophecy is pointing to? I don’t claim to know the secrets of ancient prophecy, I only use the available technology and information to make observations and connect some dots.

The prophet Daniel was told by the angel Gabriel that his visions of end time events would not be understood until the time of the end as the vision has been sealed until that time. Are we beginning to understand what the near future holds as it relates to biblical prophecy? Only time will tell.
